Air Flow

The Airflow procedure is an innovative method for cleaning teeth. A mixture of water, air and a fine powder removes tooth discoloration and soft plaque on the teeth in no time at all and polishes the teeth. The result is smooth and clean teeth.  The gums, enamel and dental restorations as well as implants are spared and a fresh, smooth and clean feeling is created in the mouth.

The treatment is completely painless.

Another advantage is that no metallic cleaning instruments are used, thus avoiding the scratching noise, which many patients find very pleasant.

How does Airflow work?

A special cleaning powder made of sodium bicarbonate is added to an air-water mixture under pressure. This powder-water mixture is sprayed onto the teeth and thus gently and effectively removes stubborn bacterial plaque and stains caused by nicotine, coffee, red wine and tea. These plaque deposits can be effectively removed even from very hard-to-reach areas, such as the tooth wiping area.

The result is cleaner and whiter teeth. 

Treatment with Airflow does not attack the enamel, but removes discoloration and hard plaque even in inaccessible areas.
